ParkwayLofts Private Party and Billards Room[1]Bloomfield, N.J.—Prism Capital’s Bloomfield, N.J., adaptive reuse development, Parkway Lofts, has surpassed the 50-percent leased mark, and units from Phase III of the redevelopment are now available to renters.

Prism’s Parkway Lofts project utilized the bones of a six-story warehouse building that was originally constructed by the General Electric Company in 1915. The community offers a wide range of on-site amenities and services, an assortment of unit options, as well as a luxurious flare and convenient access to transportation.

“Regardless of outdoor conditions, the on-site amenity package at Parkway Lofts provides an exceptional lifestyle component for our residents,” says Edwin Cohen, principal partner at Prism Capital. “Although the community is located in proximity to every modern convenience, once inside the building, there’s a real sense of comfort and privacy. Residents tell us it’s like having the best of both worlds.”

Parkway Lofts’ amenities include a rooftop deck with seating and fire pit, as well as a 5,000-square-foot state-of-the-art fitness center, a 20-seat large-screen theater room and a private party and billiards room. In addition, the community also hosts an on-site convenient store that is stocked with a variety of grocery and toiletry items.

The building’s 361 units are offered in studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plan options and each unit features 17- and 12-foot ceilings with industrial-chic architectural elements such as exposed columns and beams. Other finishes and features include custom lighting fixtures, views of Manhattan, 13-foot insulated windows, designer kitchens with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and glass-tile backsplashes, while bathrooms employ ceramic-tile flooring and porcelain surrounds. Rents start in the $1,700s.

The added convenience of Parkway Lofts’ location is one of the community’s biggest draws. The NJ Transit’s Watsessing Avenue Station, which offers quick commutes to Manhattan, is located 1,000 from the development. The building also includes a secure parking garage and in-building surface parking for vehicle owners. Both the Garden State Parkway and the New Jersey Turnpike are easily accessible, as are Routes 3 and 46.

“Among the greatest benefits of living at Parkway Lofts is the maintenance-free lifestyle,” Cohen says. “Our residents are no longer burdened with raking leaves, shoveling snow or making home repairs. This freedom allows tenants more time to enjoy the community’s on-site amenities, spend time with friends and family, or travel without having to worry about maintenance tasks.”
