Pillar Hires Artin Anvar To Lead Originations in Washington D.C. Office

Pillar, a Guggenheim Partners affiliate, announced that it has appointed Artin Anvar as managing director.

Artin AnvarWashington, D.C.— Pillar, a Guggenheim Partners affiliate, announced that it has appointed Artin Anvar as managing director. Anvar is located in Pillar’s Washington, D.C., location. He joins Pillar with more than 15 years of commercial real estate finance experience, specializing in highly structured transactions. Anvar is responsible for originating loans across all of Pillar’s product lines, including HUD, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, CMBS, life insurance and bridge loans.

Prior to joining Pillar, Anvar was the senior director at Love Funding where he was responsible for placing a wide range of real estate debt, equity and structured finance products. In his role at Love Funding his concentration was originating HUD insured loans on multifamily properties. In addition to his role with Love Funding, he was President of LFC Securities LLC. Prior to joining Love Funding, Anvar worked at Trammell Crow Company as an MBA Associate. His previous experience also includes working at Morgan Stanley and Charles Schwab Institutional. He earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Arizona State University and an MBA from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He is currently a member of the Urban Land Institute.
