Passco Adds New Acquisitions VP in Denver

With nearly 20 years of industry experience, Brett Johnson will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring multifamily investments.

Passco Cos. LLC has named Brett Johnson vice president of acquisitions for the West and Midwest. Based in the firm’s Denver office, he will source and acquire multifamily investments.

20-year track record

Johnson has been involved in closing more than $5 billion in apartment investments throughout his career, including deep value-add, core-plus, core, land development site and structured finance opportunities. Previously, he served for two years as a senior director in acquisitions at UDR Inc., where he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, acquiring, negotiating and due diligence throughout the U.S.

“Brett has nearly 20 years of industry experience, especially within the multifamily sector,” Gary Goodman, senior vice president of acquisitions, said in a statement. “This depth of experience and expertise will be instrumental in successfully driving our future acquisitions efforts forward.”

Johnson holds an MBA with a specialty in finance from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business and earned a B.S. from Miami University.
