OakPoint Lands Nashville-Area Luxury Community

Homestead Rental Properties sold The Luxe at Indian Lake Village, a 94-unit property in Hendersonville, Tenn. This marks OakPoint’s fourth recent midstate acquisition.

Nashville-based OakPoint Investments purchased The Luxe at Indian Lake Village, a 94-unit luxury community in Hendersonville, Tenn. The Kirkland Co. represented the seller, Homestead Rental Properties, which also developed and managed the property through its lease-up.

Located at 130 Cinema Drive, the property is within walking distance from numerous dining, shopping, entertainment, green space options, near the Indian Lake Village. The Luxe is approximately 18 miles northeast of downtown Nashville and 20 miles from Nashville’s International Airport.

Unique design

Built in 2016, the Luxe is the only apartment asset of its type in the city. According to Yardi Matrix data, the property features 37 one- and 57 two-bedroom units, ranging from 688 square feet to 1,007 square feet. Amenities include a fitness center, clubhouse, swimming pool, 188 parking spaces, business center, elevators and controlled vehicular and pedestrian access. The community encompasses two three-story buildings.

According to the Nashville Post, in the past three years, OakPoint purchased 850 units in Middle Tennessee. Since 2011, OakPoint Investments has acquired almost $300 million in commercial and multifamily assets across four states.
