The NRP Group has broken ground on The James on Grand Avenue, a fully affordable community in Williamson County, Texas, north of Austin. The 4 percent tax credit and bond development is being built by The NRP Group and partner Capital Area Housing Finance Corp.

Situated at 15701 Farm to Market 1325 Road, the community will feature seven three- and four-story structures and serve residents earning up to 60 percent of the Area Median Income. The 275-unit property will feature one- to four-bedroom residences. The amenity list will be headed by a children’s center and playground. Wraparound services will include literacy training and after-school programming.

Easy access

The James on Grand Avenue will be located in Wells Branch, a family-friendly community about 15 miles north of downtown Austin. The area offers ease of transportation to the Austin area, with quick access to I-35 and MoPac Expressway. Residents will be able to access an assortment of shopping and dining alternatives. The Domain, a leading Austin-area shopping center and lifestyle destination, is nearby.

The apartment community will also be located 3 miles east of a new billion-dollar campus of Apple. Now under construction, that employment hub is anticipated to deliver thousands of jobs and billions in investment dollars to the region.

The James on Grand Avenue will be located within 9.4 miles of five parks. Recreational opportunities within close proximity include Katherine Fleischer Park, Mills Pond Recreation Area, Golf Driving Range Round Rock and Wells Branch Disc Golf Course.
