- Apr 06, 2012
John Moriarty & Associates of Florida has been selected by Newgard Development Group to serve as general contractor for the developer’s 374-unit luxury condominium tower—BrickellHouse. “JMAF’s industry expertise will ensure that we meet our 2014 completion goal,” said Harvey Hernandez, chairman and managing director of Newgard Development Group, developer of BrickellHouse.
Hernandez went on to add that “with the Miami Downtown Development Authority’s recent study reporting that there is only about four months left of condo inventory while demand to live in downtown remains strong, we are building BrickellHouse to provide the most thoughtful, cutting-edge residential development to meet this demand just as inventory dries up.”
With a track record of delivering high-quality results on a variety of project types, including luxury high-rise residential buildings, John Moriarty & Associates is recognized as one of the most respected general contracting and construction management companies in the industry. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, the firm has completed more than $2.5 billion in new construction in the South Florida area alone and has additional offices in Massachusetts, Virginia and Connecticut.
The 46-story BrickellHouse that is to be located in the heart of Downtown Miami’s Brickell neighborhood will offer 374 condos ranging in size from studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom units to 7,000-square-foot penthouses. With an estimated development cost of $170 million, the luxury tower will include amenities such as Brickell area’s first members-only rooftop sky deck and pool located on the building’s 46th floor, a spa and fitness center, a high-definition screening room and wireless internet in all common areas.
BrickellHouse residences will feature private balconies with expansive water views of Biscayne Bay and Downtown Miami, gourmet kitchens, bathrooms with imported European cabinetry and premium appliances and finishes. It will also be home to one of the nation’s first fully-automated robotic parking garages, which will yield significant convenience and security, as well as environmental benefits.
