New Condo Development to Open in Silver Spring This Fall
- May 23, 2015
If you’re looking to buy a new condominium in Silver Spring, you’re in luck. Octave 1320, a new condo development at 1320 Fenwick Lane, is now entering the final stretch of construction. The community is scheduled to open this fall.
ProMark Development is the company behind the project. It calls for the redevelopment of an office building, originally built in 1964, into 102 one- and two-bedroom condos. The homes will all have high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass, corner sliding barn doors, wood floors, balconies and many other features. Community amenities include a fitness center, roof deck and rooftop SkyLounge.
According to Peter McLaughlin, ProMark’s director of development, Octave 1320 is the only new condominium development in the submarket. The project was designed by the BKV Group. Construction financing is being provided by BB&T and Montgomery County’s Department of Housing and Community Affairs.
W.C. & A.N. Miller Realtors, a Long and Foster company, has been selected to sell the new condominiums. Pre-sales started this month. Prices start from the low $200,000s for one-bedroom units and from the mid $300,000s for two-bedroom units.
