Delray Beach, Fla.—New Boston Fund Inc., a private equity real estate investment, development and management firm, announced the promotion of David Schneider to vice president of acquisitions for the Southeast region.
Schneider will be responsible for new business development and leading acquisitions efforts for the firm’s portfolio in Florida and North Carolina. Prior to joining New Boston, Schneider was a Senior Analyst for LNR Property in Miami working in loan asset management. He also previously worked in the acquisitions group for Sterling American Property, a New York-based real estate fund.
Outside of work, Schneider is involved with the local real estate community through various trade organizations, such as NAIOP and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). A member of ULI for more than five years, he has served on the Palm Beach Young Leaders Committee for the last two years. In addition, Schneider sits on the NAIOP Developing Leaders Steering Committee of South Florida.
Schneider holds a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia Business School, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania.
