Monument Real Estate Expands in the Carolinas

A Miami-based real estate investment company has added three new multifamily assets to its management portfolio. 

Three apartment communities in the Carolinas including Silverstone Apartments in Charlotte, N.C., Garden Villas Apartments in Gastonia, N.C. and Country Walk Apartments in Columbia, S.C. will now be managed by Monument Real Estate Services.

According to a recent announcement, the firm will also implement several upgrades to these properties, including the installation of new appliances, lighting and flooring inside the units.

“Utilizing our market insight and proven property management strategies, we look forward to enriching these communities,” Stuart Zook, president of Monument Real Estate Services, said in prepared remarks. “We have a strong track record serving apartment communities in the Carolinas and continue to seek opportunities for growth in these thriving markets.”

Located at 1305 Hunter Oaks Lane in Charlotte, N.C., Silverstone Apartments comprises 94 units, whereas Garden Villas Apartments at 1776 Poston Circle in Gastonia, N.C. includes 100 apartment homes. Both properties offer two- and three-bedroom units in garden-style buildings.

Country Walk Apartments is located at 408 Foxfire Drive in Columbia, S.C. and offers a total of 200 garden-style apartments and townhomes. Amenities include a pool, playground, fitness center, business center and laundry facilities. Joining St. Andrews, Peachtree Place and The Crossroads, Country Walk marks the fourth multifamily community Monument Real Estate is managing in Columbia, S.C.

Miami-based Monument Real Estate Services manages six other communities throughout North Carolina and has a regional office in Raleigh.
