Hempstead, N.Y.—Mill Creek Residential Trust LLC, a national multifamily development company, has announced the opening of Metro 303, a transit-oriented community in Hempstead, N.Y.
Metro 303 is a four-story building that includes 166 units, and offers studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment plans. Additionally, there are two levels of parking for residents. Metro 303 was designed to achieve LEED-Gold certification.
The apartments at Metro 303 include kitchens with islands and pendant lighting, wood plank-style flooring, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Additionally, the units feature washers and dryers and walk-in closets.
Amenities for the building include a resident lounge with a fireplace, game area, Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs; an outdoor pool and sundeck; fitness studio with cardio room; and courtyards with fountains and outdoor seating.

Metro 303 is located within walking distance of the Country Life Press LIRR station in Garden City and the Hempstead LIRR station and bus station in the Village of Hempstead. The community is also located in walking distance of the nearby shopping areas and restaurant areas in both Garden City and Hempstead.
