After its Modera Morningside low-rise community on Piedmont Ave. near Ansley Park, Mill Creek Residential moves closer to the core with its newest project. The Dallas-based developer broke ground on Modera Midtown, a new high-rise apartment community in Atlanta’s art and tech district.

The new 500,000-square-foot mixed-use community development will feature 435 luxury apartment homes and 12,300 square feet of commercial space. The 29-story residential component will consist of one- and two-bedroom apartment homes and a limited number of studio and three-bedroom homes. The retail space will be located on the street-facing sides of the ground floor. The community’s amenity package will offer residents an 1/8 mile running track elevated nearly 100 feet above street level, two resort-style pools, sky lounge, fitness center, business center, rooftop terraces, and courtyards. These will be found on the rooftop, the seventh floor and the 26th floor. The parking structures will include multiple car-charging stations for electric cars.

The walkable, transit-oriented location is a one-minute walk from the MARTA Midtown Station and offers views of Downtown, Midtown, and Georgia Tech campus. Midtown is a key business hub with 15.5 million square feet of Class A office space, while also home to an array of theaters, museums and arts centers.
