JV Breaks Ground on Amenity Center at Miami Community

Lennar and CC Homes are developing The Residences of Downtown Doral, a collection of single-family homes, townhomes and condos totaling 1,321 residences.

Lennar and CC Homes have broken ground on The Residences Club of Downtown Doral, located within a 116-acre neighborhood in Doral, Fla., that will offer a total of 1,321 properties including single-family homes, townhomes and condos.

Situated in downtown, the planned community consists of two enclaves built by different developers. Canarias by CC Homes will feature 423 modern single-family homes in seven residential collections, including one collection of townhomes. The homes will range in size from three- to six-bedrooms with between 2,112 to 5,500 square feet.

Prices for single-family estate homes start at $590,000 while townhomes start at $630,000. Interiors at the homes include designer finishes and customizable options such as swimming pools, rooftop terraces and outdoor kitchens.

Urbana by Lennar Homes will offer one- and two-story condos ranging from two- to four-bedrooms, with prices starting from the mid-$300,000s, as well as two- and four-story townhomes with garages priced from the low $400,000s. Urbana condos will include smart home technology and a variety of options for covered balconies, patios and optional sky view terraces.


In terms of community amenities, the Residences of Downtown Doral will feature The Residences Club, a 40,000-square-foot recreation center that will house a swimming pool, cabanas, children’s water park, tiki bar and Zen gardens. The center will also include concierge services, party rooms, lounge areas, a fitness center, yoga and cycle studios as well as an indoor basketball court and second-floor running track.

The property will also include a green paseo that will span 648 yards and feature seating areas and places for children to play. The southern point of the paseo will feature a waterfront boardwalk.

Just this week, CMC Group topped off construction at Brickell Flatiron, a 527-unit luxury tower in downtown Miami.
