Woodbridge, N.J.—Sterling Properties will soon deliver a new luxury rental option in Woodbridge, N.J., as construction of Metro at Woodbridge nears completion. The property will offer 24 upscale residences, the likes of which are hard to come by in the area.

Approximately 35 miles from Manhattan, Metro’s location just a stone’s throw from a train station will allow for quick and easy access to the city. The apartment community will cater to the growing number of renters in search of high-end accommodations in a desirable neighborhood. “Metro is going to redefine apartment living in Woodbridge with its elegant and high-quality finishes,” said Rosanne Brooks, Sterling Properties’ director of sales and marketing. “These homes truly are luxurious retreats with the advantage of being so close to the train station and a variety of entertainment and recreational opportunities.”

In addition to highly sought-after amenities and upscale finishings, the two-building complex will offer something that is highly coveted in any residence anywhere near Manhattan—space. Metro’s floor plans are in the 1,000 square-foot range.

Given current conditions in Northern New Jersey, it is unlikely that Sterling will face any major challenges in leasing up Metro. A lack of new product coming on the market coupled with “robust job gains on Wall Street” have created an environment in which the apartment market is thriving, according to a new report by Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services. Rents are on the rise and vacancies are down—the current occupancy rate in the area is 4.4 percent.
