Sedgwick Properties Development Corp. announced the sellout of Hermitage 1611, a 17-unit luxury condominium building in the Windy City’s Bucktown area.

Start of construction on the three-bedroom, two-bath residences commenced in October 2013, and the final closing took place this August. The 17 high-end units range from 1,800 to 2,300 square feet, and were priced from $650,000 to $900,000.

Hermitage 1611 offers residents premium interior finishes, such as 10-foot ceilings, white oak hardwood flooring, custom Italian cabinetry, professional-grade Viking and Bosch appliances, and high-efficiency HVAC systems. Second-floor units also offer large rear terraces, and penthouse units include private, 1,000-square-foot rooftop decks. Hermitage 1611 also includes 3,700 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, which will be occupied by a fitness studio in late 2015.

“We saw an opportunity to be at the development forefront and meet a need in an underserved market and we took it,” Marty Paris, president of Sedgwick Properties, said. “It became clear to us through our comprehensive analysis of the market that there was a desire for high-end, luxury residences in the Bucktown neighborhood.”
