Leasing Underway at Related California’s The Emerson in Los Angeles

Los Angeles—Related Companies’ West Coast affiliate, Related California, has announced that leasing has started at the company’s new downtown residential apartment building, The Emerson. The tower is located in the booming Downtown Los Angeles submarket at 225 S. Grand Avenue and initial occupancy at the building was expected in October 2014.

At 20 stories, the Arquitectonica-designed building houses 216 units that are a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans and the elegant Marmol Radziner-designed interiors bring a new level of luxury to the area’s rental market. The building was constructed to meet LEED Gold certifications and it will be 100 percent smoke free. Prices start a $2,295.
Each apartment’s interior offers open kitchens that feature Caesarstone countertops, handcrafted Heath Ceramics tile backsplashes, walnut cabinetry and high-end stainless steel appliances. Bathrooms include marble tub surround and vanity tops and other living areas feature wood plank flooring and in-unit washer and dryer.
The amenities and services package at The Emerson doesn’t skimp either. Residents will have access to an assortment of offerings including a penthouse lounge with outdoor terrace with bar area, custom billiards table and catering kitchen with dining area that can be used for private events. Additionally, the terrace has a double-sided fireplace, barbecue grilling areas, ample outdoor seating and two outdoor televisions. Other amenities include an outdoor pool and Jacuzzi with additional seating and barbecue spaces, a media lounge for movie screenings, a state-of-the-art library with fireplace, Wi-Fi and coffee station; fitness center with steam and yoga rooms, an outdoor dog park and an in-building dog spa.
Services offered include a 24-hour concierge and doorman to help with coordinating package receiving and dry cleaning services, as well as a personal assistant that can assist with other daily needs such as dog walking and making restaurant reservations.
