Harrison, N.J.—St. George, a luxury rental apartment building comprised of 60 homes in Harrison, N.J., has leased 50 percent of its units in the first month of offerings. The Marketing Directors are acting as the exclusive marketing and leasing team for the building.

“We knew this building was going to be a hit. The specification level is not to be believed,” Jacqueline Urgo, The Marketing Directors’ president, tells MHN. “It has tasteful architecture and generous layouts with great closet space and top of the line finishes. It could be a condominium in Manhattan, that is the level of finish.”

Located at 400 Passaic Ave., the three-story building consists of one- and two-bedroom apartments featuring hardwood floors, energy efficient central heat and AC, an Energy Star washer and dryer, high ceilings and spacious closets.

The apartments also feature open concept kitchens with European lacquer cabinetry, caesarstone countertops, Kohler fixtures and stainless steel Frigidaire appliances. Master bathrooms exude a spa-like feel with custom over-sized lacquer vanities and caesarstone countertops.

Building amenities include a heated parking garage, a resident’s lounge with fireplace, poker table, bar, wireless Internet, and a catering kitchen. An outside courtyard also provides lovely views, and apartments on the bottom floor can enjoy the views from their own private terraces.

“It offers a complete lifestyle center in it has a social lounge, bar area, large fitness center and offers a sense of community where people can connect and meet each other in a very luxurious lobby,” Urgo says. “There’s also a landscaped terrace, poker table and an oversized flat screen TV. We really focused on multi-functionality to give that lifestyle package in a boutique offering.”

The building is across the street from a popular diner and is close to the train station and PATH, making access to Newark and New York easy. The Prudential Arts Center is also close by, as are also lots of businesses and restaurants.

“Hopefully, this will set the benchmark for additional residential housing coming into the market,” Urgo says. “We are very proud of the success we have seen at the St. George in such a short time.”

The Marketing Directors is currently serving as exclusive rental agent on numerous properties throughout Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, New Jersey’s gold coast and central New Jersey.
