Kettler Management President Cindy Clare Elected 2013 Secretary for the National Apartment Association

McLean, Va.—Kettler Management announced that its president, Cindy Clare, CPM, has been elected this year’s secretary at the National Apartment Association (NAA).
Clare has served on the NAA Board for five years, holding both appointed and elected positions including board member at large, regional vice president for region 1, legislative chair, communications advisory board chair and conference committee chair. As conference committee chair, she is planning the association’s 2013 education conference, which takes place this June in San Diego.
Headquartered in Arlington, NAA is America’s leading advocate for quality rental housing. Its mission is to serve the interests of multifamily housing owners, managers, developers and suppliers, as well as maintain a high level of professionalism in the multifamily housing industry to better serve the public’s rental housing needs.
NAA is a federation of 170 state and local affiliates, comprised of almost 60,000 multifamily housing companies representing in excess of 6.6 million apartment units throughout the United States and Canada.
In addition to her involvement with NAA, she currently serves on the national faculty of The Institute of Real Estate Management, as well as the Virginia Tech Residential Property Management advisory board.
A property-management executive with more than 25 years of industry experience, most recently honored with the Sidney Glassman Memorial Award, the Apartment and Office Building Association’s most prestigious honor, Clare has played an instrumental role in growing Kettler’s third-party management portfolio during her tenure—adding more than 11,000 apartments and expanding Kettler Management’s services into Delaware, New Jersey, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
