Kelly Bliss Joins ARC/ Architectural Resources Cambridge as Director of Business Development

Cambridge, Mass.—ARC/ Architectural Resources Cambridge, an architectural, planning and interior design firm specializing in educational, sports, science and corporate facilities, announced today that Kelly C. Bliss has joined the firm as an associate and the new director of business development.
Bliss, a resident of Chelmsford, Mass., has served as director of business development and marketing at several architectural firms in the Greater Boston and Raleigh, N.C., areas in a career spanning more than two decades.
In her new position, Bliss is charged with oversight of business development initiatives at ARC, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and promoting the work of the firm. She will be a key contributor to ARC’s market strategy and will champion the firm’s participation at industry conferences and events.
Bliss studied interior design at the New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University in Boston and earned a bachelor’s degree in government/international relations from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.
Prior to joining ARC, Ms. Bliss was marketing principal at Lavallee Brensinger Archtects in Manchester, N.H., and Stoneham, Mass., where her duties included strategic planning, client acquisition and relationship management, proposal development and public relations. Prior to that, she served as director of marketing at the Boston office of architectural firm Perkins+Will.
Among her many professional affiliations, Bliss is a current or past member of the Boston Society of Architects’ K12 Committee, the Society for College and University Planners, the Society for Marketing Professional Services and New England Women in Real Estate.
