JLL Appoints New SoCal Senior Vice President

Chris Benton brings more than 15 years of experience to the position. He will advise institutional investors on the sale of multifamily assets in the Los Angeles area.

JLL has selected Chris Benton as senior vice president within the company’s Century City, Calif., office. In his new role, he will be working with institutional investors on the transaction of multifamily properties. Benton will work with Managing Director David Martin, as well as other JLL professionals in the region, to strengthen the company’s Western U.S. multifamily division.

As a native of Los Angeles, Benton has roughly 15 years of experience in multifamily sales in the area and has secured the transaction of assets estimated at more than $3 billion. He most recently served as director of ARA Newmark, where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the acquisition process. Benton has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Colorado.
