J Turner Research Ranks Lincoln Pointe Miami’s Best Property

Miami—Lincoln Pointe Apartments, managed by LCOR, has been ranked the “Best Property” with the most satisfied apartment residents in Miami by J Turner Research, a provider of market research for the multifamily industry.
J Turner Research conducted an online reputation assessment study, tracking and analyzing information from the leading apartment rating sites on 155 Miami properties. While multiple ratings scales posed a challenge, J Turner Research overcame that hurdle by devising a statistical model establishing a single scoring scale of 1 to 100, representing the aggregates of relevant sites.
The average score in resident satisfaction for Miami properties was 41. That score established a benchmark with which to compare an array of city properties. Lincoln Pointe Apartments earned the best score of 73. Camden Doral Villas and Ludlam Point Apartments finished second and third with scores of 66 and 64, respectively.
Located in the scenic community of Aventura, Lincoln Pointe Apartments has a number of very impressive qualities. “The property makes a beautiful first impression when you first walk onto the grounds, with amazing waterfront views of Williams Island and views of the resort-style pool area from every home,” LCOR’s director of residential property management Kathy Masterson tells MHN.
When LCOR assumed management of Lincoln Pointe in 2011, it completely renovated many property features, including the pool, barbecue areas and clubhouse, Masterson says. The clubhouse won the SEFFA 2011 Best Clubhouse Design, while the model units at Lincoln Pointe took home the SEFFA 2011 Best Model Apartment Award.
Both the clubhouse and models were designed by Martin Langmead of APT Design Studios, Masterson adds.
“Lincoln Pointe Apartments has been successful in keeping its residents happy, as evident from being ranked as the best property in Miami,” says Joseph Batdorf, president of J Turner Research. “We hope that our national online reputation assessment study will initiate and accelerate a discussion on the impact of online reviews and industry best practices to earn positive feedback from apartment residents.”
Asked what should be the key takeaway for Lincoln Pointe Apartments from the J Turner Research findings, Masterson didn’t hesitate. It is that while Lincoln Pointe is not the newest property on the block with over-the-top amenities, there is just no substitute for top-notch property management, she believes.
“Our dedicated team at Lincoln Pointe was pushed great customer service to the highest levels of hospitality,” she says. “Our two greatest compliments are the above-average resident retention and resident referrals, year in and year out.”
