Last month, Hilton Worldwide opened another hotel in downtown Cincinnati. Or, to be precise, two hotels. The Hampton Inn & Suites Cincinnati-Downtown and the Homewood Suites by Hilton Cincinnati-Downtown are both located in the historic Cincinnati Enquirer building at 617 Vine St.

Built in 1926, the 14-story property was the city’s first Art Deco building, featuring large, arched windows and a grand lobby, and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. SREE Hotels, L.L.C. is the owner and developer of the dual-branded hotel. According to WLWT.com, the company spent about $40 million on the renovation and conversion.

The dual-branded hotel offers 144 guest rooms at the Hampton and 105 at the Homewood Suites. It is located near the central business district and many popular attractions.

In a statement, Hilton said that the dual-brand concept led to the creation of larger communal areas, which would have been standard at a stand-alone property. Each hotel has its own lobby, lodging and dining areas, as well as its own amenity package.  Guests at both hotels have access to the fitness center and billiards room.
