High Street Residential Opens Foundry Lake Street

The Class A community is 54 percent leased and 45 percent occupied. Foundry on Lake Street features 5,000 square feet of indoor restaurant space.

A wholly-owned residential subsidiary of Trammel Crow, High Street Residential opened Foundry on Lake Street, a 164-unit mixed-use community located in Midtown Greenway, Minn. Big-D Construction served as the general contractor and Senior Vice President Jerry Ebert is overseeing the project development on behalf of High Street Residential.

Hotel-style lobby

Located at 3118 W. Lake St., in close proximity to downtown Minneapolis and next to the midtown Greenway, the six-story, Class A property is currently 54 percent leased and 45 percent occupied. Foundry on Lake Street features studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging in size from 550 to 1,460 square feet.

The pet-friendly property includes amenities such as a conference room, work-from-home spaces, complimentary coffee bar, hotel-style lobby, concierge services, a state-of-the-art fitness center and outdoor fire pits, grilling station and a swimming pool at the third floor. Additionally, Foundry on Lake Street features 5,000 square feet of indoor restaurant space.

ESG Architects designed the project and The Excelsior Group served as the project manager of Foundry. “Our team is excited to open the doors of Foundry. The combination of retail and recreational amenities offers residents luxury-living and the ability to enjoy the surrounding community,” Johnny Carlson, principal of High Street Residential’s Midwest Business Unit, said in a statement.
