Harmar Thompson Joins LCOR as Senior Vice President of Development

LCOR, a real estate investment, development and management company, announced that Harmar Thompson has been named a senior vice president of development, in its Bethesda office.

Bethesda, Md.—LCOR, a real estate investment, development and management company, announced that Harmar Thompson has been named a senior vice president of development, in its Bethesda office. In his new role, Thompson will pursue new opportunities in both the multifamily and commercial areas.

Thompson has more than 15 years of experience in the real estate industry directing acquisitions, development and asset management activities along the East Coast. During that time he has maximized the value for his clients through creative deal structuring which included joint ventures, project financing, entitlements, assemblages and debt restructuring across a full range of property types.

Prior to joining LCOR, he served as senior vice president of Lowe Enterprise Real Estate Group, an investment and development company, based in Washington, D.C. As senior vice president, Thompson was responsible for directing the strategy and implementation of the East Coast portfolio.

Earlier in his career, Thompson spent seven years at Lincoln Property Company, a full service real estate company. While there, he was responsible for managing acquisitions and asset management activities for the East Coast office. Thompson also directed portfolio analysis for joint ventures with clients such as Goldman Sachs Whitehall Funds and asset managed over 1.8 million square feet of commercial office and industrial assets.

Thompson received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Virginia and is a current member of the District of Columbia Building Industry Association, The Real Estate Group and a former Chairman of the Crystal City BID Board of Directors.
