Great Wolf Resorts Inc., the world’s largest chain of indoor water parks, is expanding its paw print to Colorado. The Madison, Wi.-based company will open a 311-suite, first-class destination resort just minutes away of downtown Colorado Springs in late 2016. This will be the chain’s first property in the Centennial State.
Located right off the I-25, less than an hour away from Denver, Great Wolf Lodge Colorado Springs will offer more than 380,000 square feet of entertainment for tourists and Coloradans.
“As the leader in indoor water park resorts, we provide unique, year-round family getaways each and every day,” said Kim Schaefer, CEO at Great Wolf Resorts Inc. in a prepared statement. “The addition of Great Wolf Lodge Colorado Springs will feature many of the amenities and activities our guests know and love, as well as several experiences new to our brand.”
The resort will feature the state’s largest indoor water park, totaling more than 65,000 square feet, as well as a plethora of rides and attractions for both children and adults. The company’s fourteenth resort will also include more than 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, and a variety of dining options and food outlets.
