Gebroe-Hammer Arranges $20M New Jersey Sale

Gebroe-Hammer Associates has brokered the $19.5 million sale of St. George Harrison in Harrison, N.J. Executive Vice President Niko Nicolaou worked on behalf of the seller Madison Hill Properties. Senior Vice President Adam Zweibel procured the new owner of the 60-unit property, SELA Realty Investments.

Located at 400 Passaic Ave., the 2013-built property is just north of Interstate 280 and less than 1 mile from Newark Broad Street Station, some 12 miles from Lower Manhattan. The four-story building has 25 one-bedroom and 35 two-bedroom apartments ranging from 720 to 1,184 square feet. Common-area amenities include a landscaped terrace, lounge, fitness center and heated garage.

At the end of July, Gebroe-Hammer worked on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer for the $23.8 million sale of The Fairmount at McGinley Square. The community in Jersey City, N.J., is within 1 mile of Journal Square Transportation Center and 5 miles east of Manhattan.
