FrontDoor and Lynwood to Develop Walkable Community in Snellville, Ga.

FrontDoor Communities and Lynwood Development Group have partnered on a 45-acre master planned community project in the Atlanta suburb of Snellville, Ga., that would add an assortment of single family and multifamily homes to that market.

Snellville, Ga.—FrontDoor Communities and Lynwood Development Group have partnered on a 45-acre master planned community project in the Atlanta suburb of Snellville, Ga., that would add an assortment of single family and multifamily homes to that market.

Located next to the Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, which the U.S. Census Bureau estimated to have a population of 19,245 in 2013, the development will be called Eastside Village and will be comprised of 60 high-end homes, 68 brownstones and 233 garden-style units, with  the hopes of attracting the areas single professionals, hospital employees and active seniors.

The apartment community component will offer a mix of one- to three-bedroom floor plan options with rents ranging between $950 and $1,400, respectively. Amenities will include a pool, clubhouse and cabana, and the architectural details will feature a mix of brick, stone, stacked stone and wood.

Single family homes will range in size from 2,100 to 3,500 square feet with prices between the mid $300,000s and $500,000s. The 68 brownstone townhomes will include two-car garages and will be priced starting in the $200,000.

Lynwood Development Group already has several other residential communities in the Gwinnett County area. The development of Eastside Village will mark the company’s 10th in the county.
