New York—Residents of Manhattan’s West Side can now breathe a little easier. Equity Residential recently announced that Ten23, Chelsea’s first smoke-free apartment, is open for leasing.

Ten23 is a 13-story, 111-unit luxury rental building. The building includes a mix of studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom units priced from $3,205 to $11,577 per month.

“Ten23 is at the epicenter of the newly completed High Line Park area, undoubtedly one of the most energetic and exciting neighborhoods in New York City,” Tom Lebling, Equity Residential’s senior vice president for the firm’s Northeast region, tells MHN. “Interestingly, more than 350 art galleries, museums, studios and theaters are located in this dynamic Chelsea neighborhood.”

Apartments include open floor plans, floor-to-ceiling low-UV windows, hardwood flooring and kitchens with stainless steel appliances. Additionally, many units have balconies and terraces, which offer views of the Manhattan, including the Empire State Building. Building amenities include a 24-hour concierge, valet dry cleaning service and a fitness center.

In addition to being smoke-free, Ten23 was also awarded Silver Certification by the National Association of Home Builders under the ANSI-certified National Green Building Standard.
