Two companies are expanding in the Cincinnati-Dayton corridor, bringing 250 jobs with them.

The Cincinnati Business Courier reports that Masters Pharmaceutical plans to move its headquarters from Forest Park to Mason next year. Masters CEO Danny Smith told the newspaper that his company will invest about $16 million in a 300,000-square-foot office, warehouse and distribution center. The facility will be located on a 47-acre site, near 2563 State Route 741 and Binion Way. Phoenix Architecture is the project’s architect, and Design Build Solutions will serve as general contractor.

Masters will relocate about 225 employees to Mason from Forest Park and Fairfield, and the company could add more than 100 jobs by 2020, Smith told the Business Courier. That would increase the payroll from $8.2 million initially to $13.3 million. The Mason facility could eventually be expanded to 550,000 square feet to accommodate the company’s needs.

The Dayton Business Journal reports that Quaker Chemical Corp. has acquire a facility at 3400 Yankee Road in Middletown, close to the company’s current location. Quaker paid $665,000 for the 8-acre site, which has a 15,600-square-foot warehouse and 5,400-square-feet of office space, and plans to invest $16 million in a three-phase expansion. The company expects to add about 20 to 25 new jobs.
