Ken_Caryl_11x17_20130514_Page_09Denver, Col.—Embrey Partners is developing a luxury 250-unit, Class-A multifamily community in Colorado’s prestigious Ken Caryl Ranch neighborhood, the first-such apartment development in more than a decade.

“We are a company about creating value for our residents first of all, and if we can create value than everything else falls into place,” Jeff Booth, Embrey’s senior managing partner on the project, tells MHN.  “We want to be known as a company who builds properties in the best locations. We’re looking for great locations and that means great access to lifestyle amenities, employment sectors and good, solid access and visibility in an environment people like and want to be in.”

The development will include three-story buildings and carriage houses with a mountain theme designed by Denver architect Kephart.

“We’re taking great care in designing this community with scrupulous attention to detail and a real focus on creating a unique sense of place closely tied to these beautiful surroundings,” Booth says. “This ability to connect locally is a key element of the Embrey brand that continues to separate our developments from the crowd.”

The units will be available in two distinct finishes packages, both including granite countertops and tile backsplashes in the kitchens. Select units will also include stainless steel appliances, garden tubs, designer lighting and plumbing packages.

Community amenities will include a pool with hot tub and shallow tanning deck area, a state-of-the-art fitness center, built in grilling stations, several outdoor living areas, bike storage lockers, and a bike repair shop for residents with an open-air feel created by glass garage doors.

“In the western part of the city, there are more miles of bike trails per capita than any city in the nation. This is a lifestyle that Denver residents want to be a part of,” Booth says. “The garage will have all the tools and equipment that bikers need.”

Ken Caryl is close to the mountains, offering beautiful views of the front-range and easy access to world class trail systems. According to Booth, the property is just a three-minute walk to the grocery store and within close proximity to more than 70 employers, including Martin Marietta. There’s also easy access to C470 at the Ken Caryl interchange and highly rated Jefferson County schools.

“Ken Caryl offers an exceptional lifestyle environment that is difficult—if not impossible—to duplicate anywhere else,” Booth adds.

The first units are scheduled for occupancy in early 2015.
