EdR Names Bill Brewer CFO and Steven Schnoor SVP

Memphis, Tenn—EdR announced that Bill Brewer has joined the company as executive vice president and chief financial officer effective immediately.
Brewer, 51, has spent five years as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc., the leading North American provider of technology-enabled claims and productivity management solutions.
Prior to joining Sedgwick, Brewer was with PricewaterhouseCoopers for 24 years. During his tenure as an audit partner at PwC, he focused on a client base that consisted primarily of public and private real estate investment trusts across a variety of asset types.
Additionally, Steven R. Schnoor has joined its development team as senior vice president of Western Development.
Schnoor will maintain an office in Scottsdale, Ariz., to focus on several current on- and off-campus developments, and to expand EdR’s presence through new developments and acquisitions in the western states.
Schnoor joins EdR from Concord Eastridge, Inc., a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based company focused on public/private and mixed-use real estate development in association with universities and colleges, public entities, not-for-profit organizations and other institutions, serving as senior vice president and regional director of the company’s western region activities.
Schnoor formerly held leadership positions with Turner Construction and Westin Hotels. At Turner, he focused on the development and management of strategic alliances with finance, development and design partners for the pursuit and delivery of national design-build-finance and public-private partnership projects.
As senior vice president of technical services at Westin Hotels and Resorts, he was responsible for global project management, capital planning and hotel support services.
Experienced with all facets of development and construction, Schnoor began his career as an architect, earning his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from Yale University and the University of Washington, respectively.
