It’s hard to believe the holidays are upon us once again. This festive season affords so many opportunities for apartment communities to bond with residents and forge lasting relationships. The MHN team kicked off the celebration season early, on September 24, with our annual awards ceremony and cocktail party recognizing the winners of the 2012 Excellence Awards. Congratulations again to all the winners—they have been featured in the October issue of MHN magazine. We also thank our event sponsors Interface and Carnegie. The importance of offering eco-friendly living spaces for today’s apartment consumer—and the evidence that some renters will pay more to live in a healthier environment—has now been substantiated by research from a variety of sources. But providing these green living spaces isn’t always as easy as it seems.
