EDGE Launches Multifamily Capital Markets Division

Ryan Ogden and Jared Emery will lead the newly formed platform in Washington, D.C.

EDGE Commercial Real Estate has appointed Ryan Ogden as a partner for the company’s new Multifamily Capital Markets Group. The platform will also be led by Jared Emery, who is transitioning from director of strategy at EDGE to a partner role as well. The Washington, D.C.,-based group will focus on assisting multifamily investors and providing brokerage services throughout the Mid-Atlantic, with plans to expand nationally. 

Ogden has more than 25 years of real estate experience and has completed multifamily transactions in excess of $4 billion. In 2011, he founded the ARA Mid-Atlantic office, which was later sold to Newmark Knight Frank. Ogden spent another five years at NKF following the acquisition. Before ARA and NKF, he served as managing partner at The Bozzuto Group for more than 12 years.

Emery joined EDGE in 2018 and handled new business development, marketing and branding initiatives. He brings more than nine years of real estate experience to his new position, having a diverse background in research, marketing and advisory services. His previous roles included various analyst, management and research positions at companies such as Cushman & Wakefield, JLL, Savills and Greysteel.
