Economy Watch Weekly: Consumers Go Shopping in July

CPERadioThe retail industry breathed a sigh of relief in July as retail and food services sales enjoyed a 0.6 percent increase for the month and a 4.2 percent bump from July 2016, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Categories like automotive and dollar stores did in July,¬†and even the department store sector saw a gain of 1 percent.
