Phoenix—Deco Communities will develop Edison Midtown, a new $40 million mid-rise condominium in Midtown Phoenix, which will break ground this fall.
“Edison Midtown is in the heart of the most up-and-coming area of Phoenix and was truly designed for the urban dweller,” Pat Watts, Deco Communities’ partner, told MHN. “Deco Communities prides itself on being continually forward thinking when it comes to condominium design. We like to think we go above and beyond to connect with our buyers and find out what they are truly looking for when making a home purchase.”
The seven-story Edison Midtown will include 110 residential units, with five residential floors and two above-grade parking floors on 1.254 acres.
Each residence will offer European-style kitchens with gas appliances, 10-foot ceilings, designer fixtures and hardware, glass showers, spacious walk-in closets, wood floors and large balconies perfect for entertaining and soaking in the breathtaking city views. The property will have a Zen garden-inspired courtyard pool and spa, state-of-the-art fitness center with yoga areas, Wi-Fi common spaces, electric car-charging stations, and more.
“A tremendous amount of effort is taken to understand what buyers want and need, and translating that information into an architecturally unique, design-driven marvel of construction that maintains the level of quality and attention to detail is what our company has been known for nearly 20 years,” Watts said. “The priorities of Phoenix city dwellers are unique, and we feel that with Edison Midtown we’ve cultivated a tremendous condominium product that not only speaks to the lifestyle this buyer desires, but also delivers a high quality residential product that will stand apart from others for years to come.”
Located at 3131 N. Central Ave., the property is central to Midtown’s buzzing scene filled with food, arts, music, culture and history. It’s also just steps from the Metro Light Rail that connects the city with convenient, urban, transportation. New employment opportunities and the upcoming redevelopment of Park Central Mall just across the street from Edison Midtown further enhance the desirably of the location.
“Midtown Phoenix is an area that has cultivated its own unique identity over the last couple years,” Watts said. “Edison Midtown sits at the center of the Midtown Arts District, home to numerous art galleries, theatrical and arts venues, and is walking or biking distance from some of the city’s most buzzed-about restaurants, coffee shops and nightlife hangouts.”
The project is expected to be complete by fall 2016. Sales will begin this September.
