Cervera Real Estate Tapped to Sell BrickellHouse Luxury Units
- Dec 09, 2011
Newgard Development Group has chosen Cervera Real Estate to serve as the exclusive sales and marketing agent for its newest luxury condo tower, BrickellHouse. The $170 million project, slated to break ground in the third quarter of 2012, will be the first new local condo high-rise since the housing bust, while also signaling the next wave of residential development in the city’s urban core.
Cervera Real Estate was selected partly due to a track record that included several notable Miami projects such as the Icon Brickell & Viceroy Residences, the Marquis, and 50 Biscayne, but also due to its expansive reach throughout South America and the global real estate community. The BrickellHouse sales team will be led by Alicia Cervera Lamadrid, managing director of Cervera Real Estate, along with Nelson Rios, sales director, and Alicia Lamadrid, assistant sales director. According to an official release, Cervera Lamadrid has closed more than $720 million in transaction volume since 2008.
The 46-story BrickellHouse, planned for the location at 1300 Brickell Bay Drive in the heart of downtown Miami’s Brickell Financial District, will combine an upscale location with modern design and leading-edge technology in order to achieve its goal of becoming a landmark residential destination within an area best known for banking, finance and commerce. The building will include street-level office, restaurant and retail space that enhances the neighborhood’s pedestrian experience. Among the earliest retail tenants is Meat Market Steakhouse, the popular South Beach eatery that will open its first mainland Miami location. Home to one of the nation’s first fully automated robotic parking garages, BrickellHouse is also being designed to achieve LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
The 374-unit BrickellHouse, now on the market following its October sales launch, offers condos ranging in size from studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom units, to 5,000-square-foot penthouses, with prices starting from approximately $200,000. Construction of the luxury residential tower is expected to be completed within two years.
