CBRE Sets Up Bay Area Multifamily Practice

CBRE Capital Markets has strengthened its multifamily investment sales practice in Northern California with the formation of a dedicated institutional team in the Bay Area. Executive Vice Presidents Matt Kroger and Jef Henderson will lead the new team and focus on investment property and land sales for institutional and private owners.

Integrated team

Kroger and Henderson will be supported by CBRE Capital Markets professionals across its Bay Area offices. These include Vice Chairman Andrew Behrens and Executive Vice President Jesse Weber of CBRE’s Debt and Structured Finance team in San Francisco, Senior Vice Presidents Mark Russell and Greg Poncetta of CBRE’s Land Services team in San Jose and Senior Vice President Keith Manson of CBRE Capital Markets Investment Properties team in Oakland.

Kroger and Henderson bring years of industry experience serving institutional and private clients throughout the Bay Area, with an emphasis on San Francisco, the Peninsula, Oakland and Silicon Valley. The team has sold and leased more than 20 million square feet and has sold development sites totaling nearly 12,000 residential units.

Kroger brings more than 15 years of experience in investment sales, office leasing and land sales in the Bay Area. His investment sales experience includes the sale or acquisition of nearly 6 million square feet of leased assets and development sites throughout the Bay Area on behalf of investors and developers. In addition, he has handled the sale/acquisition of development sites representing more than 7,000 residential units and nearly 3 million square feet of office development throughout San Francisco and Oakland.

Henderson brings more than 12 years of experience providing corporate tenants, institutional clients and high net worth individuals with investment solutions. During his career, he has negotiated the sale or acquisition of more than 7 million square feet of existing office and industrial assets throughout Silicon Valley and the core Bay Area on behalf of investors, developers and owner/users. In addition, he has leased more than 4 million square feet on behalf of high technology corporate tenants, has completed the sale/acquisition of development sites representing more than 4,000 residential units and more than 2 million square feet of office development throughout Silicon Valley.
