Katy, Texas—Cadence McShane Construction Company has completed the comprehensive construction services for Legacy at Falcon Point, a seniors care community in Katy, Texas. The new, 82-unit assisted living and memory care facility was constructed on behalf of PinPoint Commercial LP.
Occupying a prominent, seven-acre site at 1520 Katy Gap Road, the two-story, 64,281-square-foot Legacy at Falcon Point is a luxury development within a mile of the fashionable Katy Mills Mall, as well as Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital.
Built with panel wall and steel construction highlighted by a sophisticated natural stone and stucco exterior, Legacy at Falcon Point offers 60 assisted-living residences and 22 units designated for memory care residents.
As constructed by Cadence McShane, the residential wings of Legacy at Falcon Point each represent different “neighborhoods” and offer their own distinctive themes. They are arrayed around a central “Main Street” where residents can avail themselves of an assortment of amenities, including a movie theater, spa, restaurant, fitness center and sports bar. Together, these features comprise a pioneering “Main Street and Neighborhood” site layout and design concept.
“We are pleased to deliver our third senior housing assignment on behalf of this well-respected development team,” says Will Hodges, president of Cadence McShane Construction Company, with offices in Dallas, Houston and Austin. “Cadence McShane’s construction professionals have embraced our clients’ standards of quality and excellence, forming a trusted collaboration. We look forward to continuing to provide our services on future project developments.”
Chief among the upscale features and finishes incorporated into the center is state-of-the-art technology that helps ensure residents benefit from the highest standards in quality care. High-tech features include wireless RFID door-entry systems, identity lighting and advanced camera systems that monitor all areas outside resident apartments to help ensure instant assistance when needed.
Three Square Design Group provided comprehensive architectural services for the seniors living community. Cadence McShane completed the Legacy at Falcon Point site work, which included landscaping, sidewalks and sufficient on-grade parking to accommodate nearly four-dozen vehicles.
