Cabela’s is expanding its presence in Southwest Ohio. By next spring, the hunting, fishing and outdoor gear retailer plans to open stores in the Cincinnati and Dayton areas that are expected to create about 360 jobs, according to the Cincinnati Business Courier.

The first store is expected to open this fall at the intersection of Liberty Way and Interstate 75 in West Chester. It will be Cabela’s first location in Greater Cincinnati. Cabela’s started work on the 82,000-square-foot project in the fall of 2014.

The store will feature the retailer’s signature look, with log construction, metal siding and stonework. It will also include a large mountain replica, museum-quality wildlife displays, an indoor archery range and more. About 200 full-time and part-time workers will be employed at the store.

Cabela’s Greater Dayton store will be located in Centerville at the Cornerstone at Centerville development. Scheduled to open in the spring of 2016, the 70,000–square-foot store will be built in Cabela’s new-format layout. It will employ about 160 full-time, part-time and seasonal workers.
