- Aug 23, 2011
New York— Bazzèo has unleashed a bold new line of colors for the fall and winter of 2011/2012. According to the designers, while the expressive tones are reflective of the current fashion industry, the hues will remain in style long after the leaves of drop in the upcoming months.
The colors range from pop art inspired hues in yellow and orange to a palette of scarlet reds and dark purples. There is now a selection of a wide spectrum of indigo blues in tints that range from turquoise to pale aqua. The release is a far cry from the neutral tones that were popular in kitchen designs over the past years.
“Blue in a variety of tones and shades has had a huge come back due to the popularity of nautical and ocean inspired design,” says Iko Aviv, president and principal designer of Bazzèo. “At Bazzèo we started to combine shades of blue with white, already last year, as it gives kitchen design a fresh, clean and appealing look; now we see customers wanting more color in their living environment and kitchens, and the trend of colorful cabinets with white counter tops is taking off.”
By achieving the right balance between form and function, Bazzèo seeks to make the kitchen much more than just a place for cooking. A proper design, layout and overall aesthetic can transform the kitchen from a place to prep food to an entertainment center perfect of social interaction. Bazzèo are produced in Secaucus, N.J., and may contribute towards specific credits under the US Green Building Council LEED criteria.
