Baltimore County Office Park Looks for More Dining, Retail

St. John Properties, Inc. plans to add even more retail space to one of its Baltimore County office parks.

St. John Properties, Inc. plans to add even more retail space to one of its Baltimore County office parks. The Baltimore-based developer has already started work on the project and expects to complete it by the end of the year.

St. John’s plans call for the construction of 9,500 square feet of additional retail space within the Windsor Office Park, a 63,000-square-foot development located in the county’s Windsor Mill section. The project is developed at 2835 N. Rolling Rd., adjacent to an existing Wawa. It is designed to complement the local business community and its corporate neighbors. These include the Social Security Administration, Northrop Grumman Systems, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, as well as the Baltimore office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. A number of other business parks and residential areas are also located within close proximity.

“The submarket immediately surrounding Windsor Office Park remains under-retailed as employees working in surrounding business parks continue to seek new restaurant and shopping amenities that they can access during their lunch time,” Bill Holzman, Vice President of Retail Leasing at St. John Properties, explained in a news release.

The developer did not reveal the cost of the project. St. John plans to bring fast-casual restaurants, consumer and business services, and small boutiques to occupy the 9,500 square feet. Retail spaces starting from 1,300 square feet are already available for lease.
