Crete, Greece—The Domes of Elounda in Greece has joined the Autograph Collection Hotels, a Marriott International brand comprised of luxury independent hotels. The expansion marks the brand’s debut in Greece.

The award-winning hotel, located in the middle of the Aegean Sea, boasts a collection of 78 lavish suites and 40 villas with access to a private beach, and more recently, after a multi-million extension, 28 domes luxury residences and a new family area offering a range of activities for all ages. The newly added domes are equipped with a multitude of amenities, including private swimming pools.

The property, a long-time A-list hotspot for famous personalities, is a rich combination of the Mediterranean style placed in a sophisticated setting. John Licence, brand leader for Autograph Collection Hotels in Europe, commented: “We are delighted to welcome the luxurious and renowned Domes of Elounda as our first Greek and Mediterranean resort into the Collection.
