$100M Residential Trump Project Launched in Uruguay

The Trump brand of luxury residences has officially broken into the South American real estate market with the sales launch of the brand’s first ever property on the continent. The launch was marked by an onsite ribbon cutting ceremony attended by developers YY Development Group, as well Eric and Ivanka Trump.
Named Trump Tower Punta del Este, after the luxury resort of Punta del Este where it is set to rise, the 129-unit luxury residential tower is being developed right on the sands of Playa Brava, offering sweeping views to future residents that will undoubtedly be high-end buyers as the exclusive resort is becoming an increasingly popular getaway for U.S. tourists, especially for New Yorkers and Miamians. The location is also an established destination for South America’s elite, many of whom have second and third residences in Punta del Este.
The $100 million ocean-front tower is signed by award-winning Argentine architects Berardo and Maria Dujovne and Silvia Hirsch of Dujovne-Hirsch& Associates. The 23-story glass tower, expected to be completed in 2016, will offer high-end amenities, such as a 10,000-square-foot cascaded heated outdoor pool, two 80-foot long indoor pools, luxury full-service spa, climate-controlled indoor tennis court, kids recreation center and club, 24-hour concierge service, cigar lounge, as well a variety of dining venues, ranging from poolside eateries to gourmet restaurants.
Residences will range between one-bedroom units to duplex penthouses, with price tags starting a $650,000 and going over the $2.5 million mark. Amenities will be in accordance with the selling price, and will include luxury features such professional-grade, fully outfitted kitchens, spa-like bathrooms and sizeable balconies with ocean views. Additionally, penthouses (ranging between 6,500 and 8,600 square feet) will also include private swimming pools, spas and barbecue grills.
The oceanfront high-rise is located in close proximity to entertainment options such as golf courses, art galleries, cultural attractions, restaurants, nightlife, hotels, and evidently beaches.
It is to be noted that Trump Tower Punta del Este is not developed, owned or sold by Donald J. Trump , The Trump Organization or their respective affiliates or principals. The property uses the Trump brand name under license from Trump Marks Punta del Este L.L.C. and lists YY Development Group and Aetos SA as developers, with the latter entity also identified as owner of the property.
