Marcus & Millichap Releases iPhone App

Encino, Calif.– Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has released an iPhone application for commercial real estate investors and agents, giving clients direct and instant access to agents and offices nationwide through their iPhone or iPad.

Senior Vice President and CIO Rick Peltz says that this is the first commercial real estate investment app to allow investor clients to communicate directly with agents. “The method of communication can be a text message from an investor’s cell phone to an agent’s cell phone, or an email inquiry to an agent from the client’s cell phone,” Peltz says.

The app will allow clients to view all 76 of the company’s local office homepages as well as agency profie pages that contain property listings. “An investor in Chicago, for example, can access an agent on the ground in Texas, offering him a whole new inventory of properties for potential acquisition,” Peltz says.

The app is available for free through the iTunes Store.
