New York—Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has promoted Peter Von Der Ahe to first vice president investments. This achievement is one of the highest levels of recognition the firm awards to its investment specialists. It represents excellence in the development and servicing of long-term client relationships, according to J. D. Parker, vice president and regional manager of the firm’s Manhattan office.

Von Der Ahe is the top producing multifamily agent in the Manhattan Marcus & Millichap office. Since joining the firm in 2002, Von Der Ahe has consistently ranked among the top 10 most active multifamily property brokers in New York City. He was named vice president investments in July 2008 and has received seven sales recognition awards from the firm to date. Von Der Ahe is a director of the Marcus & Millichap’s National Multi Housing Group and was one of the firm’s Top Ten agents nationwide in 2008.
