AE Holdings LLC sold an 18-unit community. Marlborough Villas was bought for more than $4 million. The new owner—Marlborough 4102 LLC—plans to continue operating the property as apartments for the foreseeable future. Located at 4102 Marlborough Ave. in San Diego, the asset is managed by Sam Williams, president of Brycorp Properties, a local real estate investment and property management company.

Eric Comer, Jim Neil and Merrick Matricardi of Kidder Mathews—the largest independently owned commercial real estate firm on the West Coast, specializing in a complete range of brokerage, appraisal, property management, consulting, project and construction management, as well as debt and equity finance services for all property types—represented the buyer, while Leon Alchalel of KW Commercial represented the seller. “The property was extensively renovated in 2007 and has a recorded final map for condominiums,” said Comer.

Shopping centers and restaurants are nearby, as is Interstate 5.
