After recently introducing the Hitachi Water Source Variable Refrigerant Flow heat pump and heat recovery cooling and heating systems, Johnson Controls has unveiled the SunPremier, a 25-50 ton rooftop unit of the company’s York brand. The product is easy-to-install, delivers superior standard efficiency levels and reduces operational costs over the life of the unit.
Thanks to the accessible connections, service ports and lights, and the coil-cleaning hatches, the SunPremier is easy to service. The product complies with the Department of Energy 2023 energy efficiency standards and is cost-efficient. The Smart Equipment-enabled units feature start-up wizards, user-adaptable parameters, and offer control across all available rooftop units. The product integrates with other control systems and interfaces, including zone controllers and building management systems.
Additional features include a product service app that enables on-demand access to unit-specific details, technical literature and a direct connection to technical support, as well as remote monitoring capability.
“Industry-leading efficiencies are paired with dynamic feature options to decrease installation, maintenance and operating costs. It is all a part of our goal to provide performance confidence and value to our customers,” Rick Schnarr, vice president of sales, commercial and applied ducted systems said, in a prepared statement.
