Jenny Vallimont Named Director of Innovation and Sustainability With Crescent Resources

Jenny Vallimont has been named director of innovation and sustainability with Crescent Resources, responsible for fostering creative and sustainable design and development approaches within Crescent’s multi-family, residential and commercial businesses.

Jenny Vallimont has been named director of innovation and sustainability with Crescent Resources, responsible for fostering creative and sustainable design and development approaches within Crescent’s multi-family, residential and commercial businesses.

Formerly vice president and sustainability manager with Bank of America, Vallimont brings an extensive background in innovation and sustainability to her new position, including LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) professional accreditation, Six Sigma Greenbelt and GRI Certified Sustainability Reporter.

Prior to joining Bank of America, Vallimont served as manager of sustainability with Crosland, LLC of Charlotte, promoting sustainable practices across the firm and serving as an in-house LEED consultant. She also served as a retail development manager with Crosland and as a senior project engineer with Morley Builders of Los Angeles.

Vallimont earned bachelors and masters of architectural engineering degrees at Pennsylvania State University. She serves on the board of directors and is waste model program lead for Envision Charlotte and is a member of the Charlotte branch leadership group of the U.S. Green Building Council. Vallimont is also chair of the ACE Mentor Program of Charlotte and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
