Dallas—BVLD, a mixed-use development on SMU Boulevard and Greenville Avenue in Dallas, recently celebrated its grand opening. The community represents a joint venture between Prescott Realty Group, AREA Property Partners and Northwestern Mutual.
BVLD includes 417 residential units, as well as 9,100-square feet of commercial space on the ground floor. Community amenities include a fitness center, rooftop pool deck and clubhouse.
The community will likely appeal to environmentally conscious residents. BVLD recently earned LEED Silver Certification. To earn this certification, BVLD was evaluated in seven categories: sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environment quality, innovation in design and regional priority. Additionally, residents will have access to an electric car charging station.
Other green elements include Energy Star appliances in all the units. BVLD also features a rain water harvesting system.
“We could not be more pleased with how BLVD turned out,” Taylor Stone, managing director-multifamily, Prescott Realty Group, said in a press statement. “It is a great addition to the area and will continue to energize SMU Boulevard with its restaurants and residents.”
The architect for BLVD is Humphreys & Partners Architects LP. The property manager is Greystar Property Company, ad Andres Construction is the general contractor.
