    Eagle Property Capital, LLC recently announced to have acquired a 244 unit multifamily community through Nova Eagle Multifamily Property Fund II. The Columns is located in the western region of Arlington, south of Atlantic Blvd and east of University Blvd. Fund II is a private investment vehicle raised and managed by Eagle Property Capital, and as its name suggests, it is the company’s second multifamily fund.

    Fuqua Development and Regency Centers Corp. acquired a downtown plot of about two acres from Pope & Land Enterprise Inc. of Atlanta for $3.085 million. The former landlord acquired the Brooklyn site located at the intersection of Riverside Avenue and Jackson Street from a bank in late 2011. The partnership’s intention is to establish a grocer-anchored shopping center on the yet empty parcel.

They are already making small steps toward the goal, first of all studying the property and determining a viable number of units and unit with the help of a consultant. They also ordered a parking study and informed that results should be available this month, according to the Jax Daily Record.
