Bozzuto Construction Company Reveals Four New Projects Totaling $107M
Bozzuto Construction Company has acquired four new properties, totaling $107 million in contracts. These properties include Petworth Safeway in Northwest D.C.; Pollin Memorial Community Development in Northeast D.C.; Kingsview Village Apartments in Germantown, Md.; and Tyler House Apartments in Northwest D.C.

Washington, D.C.—Bozzuto Construction Company, a division of The Bozzuto Group, has acquired four new properties, which total $107 million in contracts. These properties include Petworth Safeway in Northwest D.C.; Pollin Memorial Community Development in Northeast D.C.; Kingsview Village Apartments in Germantown, Md.; and Tyler House Apartments in Northwest D.C. Bozzuto Construction company currently features a portfolio of nearly 4,000 apartment units in 18 projects, with a collective contract value of $560 million.
Petworth Safeway & ResidencesThe Petworth Safeway & Residences include a Safeway retail store, two levels of parking and five levels of residential units. This development is a $40 million community featuring 218 units, and is expected to achieve LEED Silver certification. Petworth Safeway and Residences is being developed by Duball LLC and is being designed by Torti Gallas and Partners. The community is expected to be completed in the summer of 2014.
The Linda Joy and Kenneth Pollin Community, which is also called MetroTowns at Parkside, will include 125 affordable townhomes. Torti Gallas and Partners is designing the community, which represents a $19 million project construction contract for Enterprise Homes. Construction is expected to be completed in early 2015.
The third property, Kingsview Village Apartments, is a $20 million project featuring 195 garden-style apartments. The community is developed by Pleasants Development Inc. and designed by Heffner Architects. It will feature three buildings, four garages and a clubhouse with a pool. Kingsview Village Apartments is expected to be completed by Spring 2014.
Tyler House Apartments is a 284-unit affordable community. Rozman Development is managing the $28 million renovation, which will feature a new building-wide HVAC system, new plumbing, improved elevators, a community center, a new computer learning center and new kitchens for residents. Construction is expected to be completed by late 2014.
